in between

I can see a dead cat from my class. My class is on the 3rd floor, the cat is at the longkang next to my block. From my place can get VIP view of the dead cat. So I am going to watch the cat decompose day by day. It makes school more interesting.

floorball flew over to the neighbour's garden =/

kiwifood

i just woke up after falling asleep cuz of mod maths.

no, no dreams xP as far as i can remember?

So because i need something to get my brains running again (they're kinda still half-awake), i'll finish up this post la.

i seem like such an avid blogger.

So here goes. lotsandlotsandlotsofphotos

[captions below the photos. i'm not chewyan-y.]

One of the first food items i bought there from a Chinese supermarket xP such an important component of our daily diet

ooh the first-ever sit-down meal we had there with the rest of the tour group. THREE COURSE!
(at first it was really nice but you kinda get used to it, a lot of the meals they provided us were 3cs where you could choose from a limited number of options in the menu)
#1: cream of tomato and red bell pepper soup. (the bread roll was really nice)

#2: strip steak

#3: boysenberry cheesecake (that's whipped cream btw - at first i thought it was ice-cream)

a squashed and currently still lost in NZ Quasimodo/Don Quixote with a bag of honey lemon sweets

From one of the cafes, i think this was steak & kidney pie.

from the same cafe. That's a sour cream dip for the wedges, then a sourdough sandwich with.. uh.. ham? and the smoked salmon bagel.

Morning mocha on a rainy day.

Vegetable soup. Again, the bread roll was nice but the soup was kinda bland.

=O hugeeeeee bags of apples for NZ$10 (about RM24) at a stall next to a fruit orchard

in the Remarkable Sweet Shop

some really awesome, popular burger joint at Queenstown where you can get:

(among other choices) the Fergburger! it was reallyy reallyy gooood.

But sometimes you kinda miss all that rice. This costed i think more than the bag of apples (RM25+) and it wasn't that nice anyways, veges were kinda salty? But after idontknowhowmany days of NZ food you kinda get bored of it.

I have no idea what this fish was doing on the statue of Queen Victoria. serious.

Cookies & cream. and they considered this to be ONE scoop!

This was at some seaside stopover we were at for lunch.

And it had the awesomest mussel chowder everrr! with tonnes of mussels.

The dessert section at the buffet in Materiki (sth like that), Rotorua.

where they used that big.. oven thing. Hangi.

Which cooked up this (pumpkins and potatoes)

and thisss! Meat Mountain =D

of the wonderful things at that buffet, including, more mussels! (made a 2nd trip to take more =D)

One of the best meals we had there - Indian food =D after being deprived of rice for soo long. We requested extra-hot and yes, they delivered very well! That's lamb vindaloo btw (in the red gravy)

The RM 20-something nasi lemak with a copious amount of beef. And there's frozen coke from McD. Frozen coke is really nice.

And, again from McD, the Grand Angus. beef. whoaaa.

i'm sorry if you read this while you were hungry

jusco - destinasi pelancongan terkini! =D

There was this guy in Jusco.

Tourist, with his wife I think. I THINK.

He had a camera.

Compact camera, eulene.

Which looked alot like the one I use.

And he was taking pictures, IN JUSCO, of...

1. the fresh chicken feet packed up in nicely cling-wrapped styrofoam trays.

2. siput balitong.

3. uhh. bags of rice.

You see, Penang is so famous, ppl come all the way here just to take photos of things that Jusco sells.

I don't blame him. xPP

I know how he feels.

Cuz i did the same thing. (not in Jusco lahh!)

Lookie here: (wei-lynn look, there're pictures!!)

Starburst BABIES. Now here i'm wondering what kind of a person would want to eat fruit-flavoured baby-shaped gummies. hey eulene doesn't that look like nathan? xP

COOKIE TIME! they had this all over new zealand, like in almost every single supermarket and convenience store. i bought one back and put it up for gift exchange during that christmas youth service. xP

Then there's Four Squares. It's like what 7Eleven is here. It's like in every little and big town in NZ. Some Four Squares are little, some Four Squares are big.

This was in another supermarket called Fresh Choice. (no, i did not remember, i just zoomed in on the labels there) their bakery section is like sooo nice. (this was just a tiny part)

Then you have the Pavlova. Imagine something along the lines of half-melted marshmellows encased in a sugary crust. Horribly sweet.

uh. fruits la (better than chicken feet right)

Eh so inovatif k. put chimpanzee next to bananas. xP

I feel like doing a whole post about the food in NZ based on photos.

Cuz like there i took like photos of lots of the meals i ate.

Ppl thought i was weird, taking photos of food.

but it was worth it xP haha.

Dreams

Um not the cita-cita type. I mean the sleep then dream type. haha.

Okay. Got two interesting dreams i had, one night after the other.

ONE

Eulene died.

......*silence*

eh really wan. i dreamt that eulene died.

Cuz of one of two things. idk.

Her mum said is cuz of food poisoning.

Then another source said its cuz some rapist killed her =O

So yeah she died. Yes it was kinda sad. hahaha xPP

Interesting la. Went to some crime scene where she apparently got murdered. But then dunno why her mum was still saying it was cuz of food poisoning.

Dreams are so weird.

TWO

This was one of the awesomest dreams ever.

Becauseee...

I DREAMT THAT I FINALLY GOT MY STICK!

This one:

It was like sooooo niceeeeeee and NEW.

I remember the plastic wrap was still around the grip.

And the blade was so SMOOTH.

wahhh.

poof. tania wakes up.

my Chinese new year's resolution

which i want to do by the next year of the tiger (because after that then i'll be too old and boring to do it xP)

IS TO..

*drumroll*

Go into one of those tidbit (or titbit, whichever word you wanna use) shops.. the one that specialises in selling titbits..

(must be specialised shop cuz the ppl manning the tidbit section in supermarkets are usually... old and boring. haha.)

..then get a plastic bag..

..go to the dried guava section..

..and take ONE (just ONE, not two!) slice of dried guava and carefully place it into the plastic bag..

..then give it to the cashier nonchalantly (means like very normal like that)..

..and wait for that REACTION. xP

Yup that's it =D

so simple right. xP anyone wanna join me? haha.

this year angpao really tak laku. haih. haha xP
