Of floorball.

Asking people to join a floorball tournament one week before the day itself and the deadline's already passed... wahh.

And I wonder why people hate being keeper so much... hahaha.

I hate begging and bugging but sometimes you've gotta do what you don't like.

And then there's this short guy who keeps giving lame suggestions. LOL. And then asking Alex to call his parents so him and Ivy can play.

I'm short of one person. Or two people, if things don't work properly.

They should.

By faith?

Half-frozen Durian

Rocks.

Especially if it comes from an old Indian man's garden who's a former English teacher and your mum's friend and lives 5 minutes from your house and has a really awesome garden with all sorts of trees.

And of course, A DURIAN TREE.

A durian tree in your backyard! =D

Anyways.

It's.. cold, sweet (I still don't like bitter durians), gooey, ice-creamy...

...best durian ever.

Minuman Percuma!!!

*A true Recess Revolution story I posted up on the revo website d

So yeah, as the title suggests, we did what many other schools'd already done: Give out free drinks!

Well we figured why not? So before the day itself our RR team contributed some money (about RM5 per person) and I topped it all off to get a pretty RM40.

So on Thursday me and Peili went up to the canteen tauke. Honestly, Peili does have more guts than I do lol and she said the first few words until I caught on and together we explained to the tauke that on Friday, we wanted to buy 80 cups (at 50 sen each) of drinks.

He said okay. I mean he was so... normal. As if something like this happened to him everyday hahah. We did tell him it's a CF thing, and it's just for ANY student, first come first served.

Friday came, and I forgot it was a combined recess due to the Merdeka celebrations, but our drink-giving went on very well. In fact it was kinda even better cuz the lower-form and upper-form RR groups combined this time.

First I was a bit freaked out cuz the canteen people placed our 80 cups alone by the corner of the drinks table, and at the other corner, drinks were still being sold as usual. So once everyone came we went up behind the counter of the drinks table.

And we starting saying FREE DRINKS HERE! and MINUMAN PERCUMA! and stuff like that. At first people didn't believe us, they bought their drinks as usual and didn't want the free cups of drinks. But soon a few people caught on and a few drinks were taken.

The momentum soon grew and more and more people came and they were like: Serious ah??? Some even asked why, and we just said we wanted to bless them. It was really good (and fun) as people just came up, with their shocked faces and all and smiled thankfully at us. The expression on their faces were priceless!

One or two students even came for a second round or to take some for their friends. A few even took a drink from our corner, and went to PAY for it!

In about 10 minutes (i think - it's kinda hard to keep track of time when you're doing something like this hahaha) all the drinks finished.

So, all in all, I'd say it was really, really good! Before we started this, I kept on wondering WHY are we giving out free drinks, I mean does it even make ANY positive impact?

But, at the end of the day, we didn't say anything like "Jesus loves you" but all we wanted to do was freely give as God had done for us, and to just SHOW God's kindness to the students.

Well yeah, RM 40's kinda a big sacrifice for us students, but, as we all know, God gave a much, much bigger sacrifice for us.
